Welcome! My name is Rob Schipper, and my passion for antiques began at an early age. As a child, I could spend hours wandering through my grandparents' house, fascinated by the beautiful antique pieces. The idea of holding an object from another time - a piece of tangible past - has always touched me deeply.
 

Today, I search for and collect antiques that appeal to me. My collection is broad and diverse, with pieces from different countries and style periods. It is precisely this variety that makes antiques so fascinating to me: they tell stories of different lives and times. However, one thing always remains central: quality. Each piece must have that special, elusive ‘something’. And when I find a new home for an object, with someone who shares that same appreciation, it feels to me like a valuable aspect of my work.
 

In the early years, I ran a physical shop, depending on casual passers-by. But thanks to the internet, I can now reach people all over Europe - and beyond.
